I’m Laurie Johnson, founder of Azure Luxury Travel and a lifelong traveler who believes the most meaningful journeys begin with thoughtful planning and a spirit of discovery.

Today, I specialize in designing luxury river cruises and small ship ocean voyages for couples, empty nesters, and friends who want travel to feel seamless, enriching, and deeply memorable.

I believe travel is more than simply visiting a destination. It is about slowing down long enough to truly experience a place—watching castle-lined riverbanks drift past your balcony along the Danube, sharing a glass of wine with a local vintner in France, or discovering a quiet café tucked away in a Mediterranean village.

Through firsthand travel and trusted global partners, I design journeys that remove the overwhelm of planning so you can travel with ease and confidence.

When I’m not designing journeys for clients, you will often find me wandering cobbled streets and ancient ruins, planning my next adventure, or enjoying a quiet evening with my husband.
